{"id":1073,"date":"2010-05-31T15:55:17","date_gmt":"2010-05-31T12:55:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.balaschov.ru\/?page_id=1073"},"modified":"2012-03-12T16:46:10","modified_gmt":"2012-03-12T13:46:10","slug":"romanovichbiography","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/arteology.ru\/en\/artists\/romanovichbiography\/","title":{"rendered":"Sergei Romanovich"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Sergei Mikhailovich Romanovich<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">(1894, Moscow \u2013 1968, Moscow)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Painter and graphic artist<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #f67474;\">1894<\/span> was born on September 11 in Moscow to the family of Mikail Mikailovich Romanovich, an officer in the Opekunsky Soviet (Board of Trustees) under the Empress\u2019s personal direction<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #f67474;\">1909<\/span> enrolled in the general education department of the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (MUZhVZ)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #f67474;\">1912<\/span> studied in the painting department of MUZhVZ. S. M. Romanovich\u2019s instructors at the school were A. Arkipov, A. Baksheev, K. Korovin, P. Kuznetsov, S. Malyutin and L. Pasternak. In that same year he joined M. Larionov\u2019s Krug Soratnikov (Circle of Brothers-in-Arms)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #f67474;\">1913<\/span> participated in an exhibition by M. Larionov\u2019s group Mishen (Target)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #f67474;\">1914<\/span> participated in the exhibition <em>No. 4<\/em>. After the start of the war, S. M. Romanovich was drafted to the army but was soon discharged.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #f67474;\">1915<\/span> gave a solo exhibition at MUZhVZ at which S. M. Romanovich presented his abstract works<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #f67474;\">1918<\/span> completed his education at MUZhVZ and taught at Proletkult\u2019s Moscow fine arts studio<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #f67474;\">1920<\/span> began teaching at the Voronezh Higher Art and Technical Studios (Vorkutemas)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #f67474;\">1921<\/span> joined the artists\u2019 and poets\u2019 federation Art is Life (Makovets).
